Nautical Bathroom

After spending some much needed time at the beach, I painfully (and not from a sunburn) return home thinking about all things nautical, sigh…

I decided to redecorate/reorganize my bathroom; again. I went on the hunt for some ideas and came up with a minimalist approach to the decor.

I began with simple, thick and cozy white towels. Next, a geometric curtain (which reminds me of portholes) to add a splash of color and design. And finally, I added a few fun pieces from the seashore along with some wall art to tie it all in . I think I did pretty good in achieving the look and feel of the minimalist nautical decor that I was aiming for. It gives my personal space a little oceanic feeling.

You too can give your bathroom a little touch of  beach by following some of these simple touches. They portray the right amount of ocean flare needed without too much clutter. The summer season is just too short not to enjoy to the max! I hope you’re all having a fantastic one thus far!

What are you redecorating these days?

Nice job without looking to kitschy! Nothing is worse than nautical gone overboard (pun intended) 🙂
I love nautical too! Thanks for some great tips!
