My favorite time of the year is finally manifesting itself in my wardrobe. To me, wearing white outfits only belong to the warm weather months. And like I mentioned before, once Memorial Day weekend arrives, white is my color of choice for pretty much the rest of the season. Today I embrace white and lace and its romantic allure. I happened to get married in the month of June, and as such I’m definitely a sucker for the feminine look that this little white dress and its eyelet lace bestows.

I kept this look simple by coordinating it with neutral tones. If I were to wear this for an evening event I would have opted for dark shoes and bag and larger statement necklace. All in all, I achieved the look I was going for, soft, feminine, casual and comfortable. I especially love how the details of the lace is similar to clam shells, totally in tune with summer’s nautical theme.
Like the “little black dress,” a girl should also have her “little white dress” in the closet ready to wear all summer long!
