What better way to usher in the summer months than with anchors and by the pond. I’m lucky enough to live steps away from this flourishing and beautiful pond. Throughout the summertime the kids usually go down and waddle around in little boats soaking in the sun rays and perhaps catch a fish or two. Today I decided to go for a walk and take advantage of the gorgeous and serene environment!

In keeping with the summer’s nautical theme, this Old Navy dress was a terrific find and on sale! I absolutely LOVE halter top anything! Whether a dress, a blouse or bathing suits, halter-top styles show off your shoulders so nicely and complements every girl’s upper half to the max!
This post was prompted by the Charmed Summer Instagram contest, (keeping my fingers crossed). My Alex & Ani seaside bangle collection was a no-brainer since I’ve been collecting these for a while. Every time I happen to be in Newport, RI, I stop by their shop and pick out one or two new faves. They have become my go-to accessory for the entire summer season.
