Some of my most memorable moments always include my children. This night at the opera house, I shared with my daughter and my sister. The three of us trotted into downtown Hartford where The Bushnell Theater is located for a fantastic fairy tale night full of color, music and fun!
One of our favorite Disney tales came to life as we watched Beauty & The Beast on stage. Needless to say we had a wonderful time. And we were also lucky enough to get beautiful weather considering it poured all day!
More magical, though, was seeing my little girl’s eyes beam with amazement. The look of disbelief and excitement as she watched the show was priceless.
We began our night with an awesome pre-show dinner at a local restaurant down the road. We sat by the windows and enjoyed the beautiful evening scenery provided by the natural spring decor from across the street at The Bushnell Park.

The night at the opera house was one for the books! Although my baby girl didn’t last through the entire performance, she was able to enjoy most of it up until the intermission. The next morning it was all she talked about.
By the way, the dinner menu consisted of quite a lot more items than I care to admit. I didn’t want to display how much I actually ate, lol!
