The Midi Skirt

There is just something about wearing a black and white outfit. I consider it a timeless combination. And this outfit is brought to whole new level with the new midi skirt. I love the versatility and modesty that it encompasses.

I prefer a variety of lengths when it comes to skirts and dresses although I’m no longer a fan of the super mini, at least not for my age.  Right now I’m really liking this length coming back into play. A little Audrey-ish with a modern take. I don’t feel it implies a “matronly” look, as some would say. It gives off a sense of class and good taste.

What are your thoughts on the new midi skirt length?

Everything about this outfit yells classy! And you’re right, there is nothing matronly about the skirt. I know a lot of girls wearing this skirt length now, its so popular. You look great as always! 🙂 And those shoes!!!

I love a good midi-skirt! Nothing like a classic button-down, too — I’ve been wearing mine with everything lately! So easy to go from office to after-work commitments.

Hope you’re having a great week, Rosa!

I love this on you. Black and white is classic, love the top with the jewel, as a matter of fact I am looking at this AT shirt as well, seems a great peice to have in the closet. THe blue cobalt in your shoes is a nice touch of added color

    from the link up,

    please stop by, jess

Black and white is such a classic combination. This look is beautiful on you. I love the detailing on the collar on the blouse. A nice added touch. Great look!
