I was delighted to be invited once again to the 5th Annual Teddy Bear Tea! It’s a wonderful event held during the holiday season to benefit the CT Children’s Medical Center. My daughter and I were so excited to be part of it and we enjoyed some of the best tea delicacies that Max Downtown had to offer.

I chose this very pretty dress in hot pink mainly because it was a day affair. I kept the shoes neutral in order to preserve the statement of the dress. A bold black velvet clutch adds drama while the jewels were just the right amount of glam without overdoing it.
Tip of the day: For you ladies out there who LOVE to wear hosiery or stockings, try to refrain from doing so if at all possible! Gone are the days where these were a must for the female attire. It was actually very cold the day I took these photos, but can you imagine wearing hose with this outfit!?! No! I prefer to show off my natural legs.
If you need a little help with color for your legs, try this spray tan by Sally Hansen! I use it all the time, especially during the winter months when my summer tans fades, but use it very cautiously. You don’t want to end up with orange legs! Make sure to grab the color that suits your skin tone. What you want is minimal coverage.
