It’s been a minute. I took a hiatus from both the computer (aka the blog and the gym) and I’m finally (but slowly) getting back into a regular schedule, though not as easy as it sounds. Changing gears, I spent the long weekend in Newport and it was, as usual, sooo nice. I love driving through the back roads no matter the time of year and right now it’s looking quite beautiful since it’s peak fall foliage season. Honeslty, this time of year in New England it’s just splendid!🍂
Seems to me that Target is finally getting their fashion sense back. Case in point, this fabulous women’s oversized blazer. It’s made of recycled polyester, but you wouldn’t know it as it feels more like soft bouclé. Even though it’s oversized it is still tailored in a casual fit and is designed with full lining for an elevated feel, go Target! You can never go wrong with blazers in the fall season for layering. And with this one it’s also a great way to save at just $45 while adding a unique touch to your fall wardrobe. (size down)

I would be remiss if I didn’t inclide these two lovely shots from one of my favorites streets in Newport. The old colonial homes around town are so full of history and this time of year they seem to come alive in their muted colors. These two in particular follow the autumn hues in the ever so popular black and orange theme.
