Glor and I recently had a girls night out and we spent the night at the Fox Tower, one of three onsite hotels at Foxwoods Resort Casino. During our stay we made our way to The Sugar Factory for dinner. It’s by far one of the prettiest places to eat and drink. And the menu is even more fun than I expected! I mean look at this place! It looks like something out of Alice’s wonderland!
Because St. Patricks day is just around the corner the whole place was sprinkled with fun little shamrocks and four leaf clovers. With all of greenery throughout it definitely put me in a spring mood! Can you believe spring is just three weeks away?!!
Anyway, Glor and I popped in for a quick dinner before going to see ‘Finding Neverland‘ the musical at the Fox Theatre in Foxwoods. If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen some of the recent story highlights I posted about the show and other fun activities. The show is definitely worth watching and if you happen to have kids, its a great musical for them! The show runs thru March 1st, if interested in getting tickets just click on the link above for a special discounted rate!We were in a little time constraint and I wish we had had some more time to enjoy another fabulous cocktail, dessert and the lively scene. Although after Glor’s drink I don’t think we could’ve fit any of the amazing desserts on the menu! I had a Sour Apple Lolly Martini, and just like the name suggests, it’s a delicious martini made with sour apple liquor rimmed with bubble gum pop rocks and an apple lollipop to stir! Glor had The Barbie; vanilla ice cream and strawberry gelato blended with marshmallow fluff and topped with whipped cream and pink rock candy rocks. Both were amazing!
The Sugar Factory is a celebrity gathering spot that treats guests to a one-of-a-kind experience serving upscale dining classics from brunch to late-night ranging from decadent crepes to flavorful milkshakes, gourmet burgers and more. I didn’t realize how big the portions would be. While I was able to eat most of my meal, Glor however couldn’t finish that gigantic burger. Both plates were fantastic and we will certainly go back for more!
