I’m not ready for needles, are you? Today I’m sharing my review of Clinique’s new Smart Clinical MD, a multi-dimensional age transformer duo that helps resculpt and revolumize. 
During the fall and winter months my skin typically gets drier and extra hydration is a must. Now that the weather has finally begun to get cold I have to amp up my moisturizing routine. I started to use Clinique Smart Clincal MD Duo treatment for anti-aging, hydration and to ward off break outs. Yes, at almost 50 years of age I still suffer from the occasional breakout…🙄
The Clinical Smart MD Duo is comprised of two innovative moisturizers in one jar. An instant-tightening gel-cream and an instant plumping dense-cream. Combined, they resculpt, revolumize and reshape your appearance. The product contains several amazing ingredients including, Hyaluronic Acid (hydration), Soybean and Sweet Almond extracts (tightening and lifting) and others to achieve maximum benefits.
The duo treatment is supposed to lift the jawline, firm the neck and contour facial profile while targeting wrinkles, dullness and uneven tone including acne prone areas. Although I don’t think I’ve been using the treatment long enough to notice lifting & contouring, I definitely have noticed my skin much clearer, fewer visible lines do to the plumping effect and hydration that lasts all day. The creams do not contain SPF which is something I’m adamant about and wish it did. However, it’s a great product for night time skincare routine. If I don’t have plans to leave the house during the day then I reapply first thing in the morning.

- for day time, always begin with a freshly cleansed face and use a nourishing cream that contains spf.
- based on your skin type, avoid too much exfoliation. it can cause irritation especially for dry skin.
- avoid over use of toners. these can further dry the skin.
- for night time remove all makeup and follow with Clinique Smart MD for optimal hydration and plumping affect.
