Old Navy Little Black Bathing Suit

Sometimes you find a jewel and sometimes you find A JEWEL! Case in point, this black swimsuit from Old Navy. It truly is every girl’s summer bff… We took these pictures while in Newport leading up to the Fourth of July holiday. We also decided to get to the beach late in the afternoon rather than early like most people. To be honest, it’s a game changer, so I highly recommend. I loved having the beach almost all to ourselves. It was quiet and most importantly we stayed until sunset, which was a nice experience! And now, on to the suit. This swim suit is absolutely fabulous! The material is labeled as having some stretch, but honestly, I didn’t find it stretchy at all. It’s quite thick and I struggled somewhat to get it on. The fact that it was a hot and humid day might have had something to do with it since sizing was not the issue, just saying… Other than that little hiccup, the suit is AMAZING! All of my extra thickness was sucked right in and seemed to vanish. I certainly didn’t buy it for that purpose but it was definitely a nice surprise once I got it on.

It is a lovely suit to wear, looks great on so I’ll be wearing it a lot, and at just $25 (plus an additional 25% off at checkout!) it makes this suit a win win! It’s my experience when shopping for swimsuits, (which is not one of my favorite things to shop for), a suit like this typically averages upwards of $100 if tagged by another brand, so I consider this one a fabulous find at Old Navy. And it’s also available in three other block colors!
