I’m finally back to my usual self again! OMG, what a month we’ve had! Our entire house was infected with the flu and it was just awful! My oldest son was the only person not to get sick, how does that even happen?! I don’t remember the last time any of us got this sick and it was just horrible, hence the reason I haven’t post anything here. But if you follow on Instagram (thanks!) I was able to post a picture here and there but seriously, it was hell being so sick!

The long weekend coincided with me feeling 100% better so I drove down to Newport for a much needed time out! Needless to say the weather gods cooperated and blessed us with what is extremely unusual warm temps for February. One day it reached a little above 60° degrees! The town was celebrating winter fest and so it was buzzing with lots of tourists, you would’ve thought it was summer! Anyway, I had a fantastic time away with my little girl enjoying much needed girl time while soaking up vitamin D with summer vibes and ocean views!
