A Little Faux Fur and Festive Red

Hello friends! Hope your weekend was a nice relaxing one for you. This girl is finally back on track after feeling like crap for a week. My kitchen remodel is peddling along slowly and it’s getting the better of me, ugh, not to mention a serious head cold that got me so irritated! But I finally got to venture out for a couple of events I had scheduled earlier and thank goodness I’m feeling normal again.

Today’s post is a twofer, is that even a word? Don’t you just love to find wardrobe items that make for double duty? I got this coat earlier in the season and it’s so worth the investment! I first styled it here without the faux fur collar. I was in dire need of a newer camel coat because this one has had it’s fair share of mileage and was starting to look slightly ragged with pilling and I’ve since lost a couple of buttons. I wore the new coat with the collar for a nice brunch and I love how it looks. Doesn’t the collar add a touch of glam (and warmth)! It’s a winner and it’ll be on repeat for years to come.

Unfortunately it was too cold to take the coat off in order to show you the dress underneath (blogger problems) but take my word, it’s the perfect little red dress! Forgo the typical black and add some boldness to your outfit with the red. Annnnd, it’s on huge sale right now!
