We begin another week on the right foot. The weather is supposed to be fabulous all week (ranging from mid 60’s and upward) which is always wonderful this time of year. The foliage is at it’s peak with the most beautiful colors everywhere. It’s also a great time to integrate some fall pieces without too many layers. Hence a simple shirtdress, scarf and boots.
This casual outfit says it all. Comfort (you all know I’m all about style and comfort) warmth and chic fall street style. Again with the shirtdress. This makes, what, the fourth shirtdress outfit in recent weeks?.. This one, although a shirtdress is also a popover. A few buttons on top with no collar, which made the plaid scarf that much more practical, roomy loose fitting cut and a nice above the knee length hem. I’m thinking next time I’ll pair the dress with my favorite nude booties.
And I’m again sporting my newest pair of riding boots. No, I don’t ride but that’s what they’re referred to. I absolutely love this cognac color for the fall and the fact that I can finally give my black ones a rest. Riding boots are a big thing in the fall season and it’s an investment I highly recommend. They really add so much fun to a basic outfit and of course super practical.
