In one of last week’s post I hinted about a new collaboration I have with Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas. I honestly couldn’t have timed this better! After spending some time at the beach last week this was the perfect opportunity to get my facial skincare into high gear. When I arrived at the Red Door Spa I was ushered to the changing rooms and quickly changed into the thick and comfy Red Door bathrobe, but first, a before pro-facial selfie/snap. The lighting throughout made it a tad challenging for us to take photos but you’ll get the gist of it all…
The lineup of the Elizabeth Arden products used for my facial were intense. With so many products on hand I was quite surprised at the amount of time (I didn’t actually time the whole treatment) my lovely esthetician, Doreen, took with me. She was gentle, informative and very accommodating. She made the whole treatment a super delight. I was even told I briefly fell asleep…
While the treatment was being performed Doreen would tell me ahead of time what she would be using and the purpose for each product. I remember feeling different sensations at different intervals. Some tingling, itching, smoothing, warmness and coldness. She massaged my head, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and fingers which made my whole body relax. Her touch was amazing and when combined with the delicious scent of the products it all felt so refreshing. 
Facials aren’t something I do often but will certainly do more of from now on. I simply can not stress enough how seriously important and valuable this kind of treatment is for your skin.
Skin appears more even with enhanced elasticity, texture, tone and clarity for a refreshed, nourished and youthful look. The best part is that the facial is suitable for all skin types. Doreen even extracted a couple tiny pimples and blackheads leaving my face practically flawless. Today marks a week since I had the facial done and my skin is still luminous!
