Glam And a Bow

Today’s style post is a collection of sorts. I’ve been reworking outfit pieces from my closet in order to create new looks for the season. This outfit is a perfect example of what simple but classic pieces can offer you. 

We begin with the fact that I wanted to create a fun and festive look with a touch of glam. The fun part of the look is owed to my daughter’s super cute plaid bow headband. Yep, you got that right, it’s my daughter’s headband which I borrowed and it fit quite well. She wore it a couple years back for her winter outfit and I figured well, I can too…

The second thing is that sequins never goes out of style! This top is a great piece to have and should be in every girl’s closet! Year after year you will find a coordinating something to go with it. I’ve had it for about three years now and I can count on it to get me through an evening of sparkle.

The other thing is this fabulous and chic midi skirt. Seems like it won’t be leaving the runways any time soon because it keeps popping up! This too I’ve had for about three years and it still shows off great season after season! The stockings were a random and impulsive element I chose to wear because it finally got cold. Turns out it gave the whole outfit a fun grown up look. Lest we not forget the super soft faux fur snood I picked up a few weeks back. It’s been on repeat ever since and not only does it offer warmth but it ups the glam level!
