I’ve been fortunate to play the beach bum this summer. It’s definitely not something I do every year, in fact, I’m not sure that I’ll have another chance to do it again so I’m taking full advantage of the fantastic weather we’ve been having. We’re in the home stretch now guys and although I don’t want to think about fall or winter, inevitably they will creep up. For now I’ll keep enjoying our New England beaches and share another great seaside post.

I’ve been madly in love with the flash tattoo trend all season. At first I wasn’t sure it was for me but the more I came across them through the blogosphere the more they looked appealing. So I dove in (no pun intended) and tried them out. LOVE it! I think they’re pretty cool. I picked these soft girly designs with gold shimmer which look amazing on tanned skin. And of course the fact that they’re temporary is a great thing.

The other trend I wanted to check out was the ring to bracelet jewelry. How cute is this one! It took a little getting used to but I love it as well. Both accessories lend a subtle boho chic look, perfect for summer! Anyway, besides the ocean breeze and sand and surf I’m really enjoying my summer to the fullest, hope you are too!
