Today’s post is the first in a series where I’ll document my favorite monthly beauty finds. It wasn’t until I began writing this blog that I was able to hone in on my makeup and beauty skills. Now I’m much better at doing my research for the things I truly love, the things I really need and most importantly for the things that help me achieve what I want.
We’ll discuss products I’ve recently discovered or I’ll let you in on the ones I can’t live without. The goal is to provide you with helpful tips and suggestions on makeup and beauty trends. We’ll begin with what I loved most in July.I must admit I fell in love with the Cooling Sunscreen Mist from Bath and Body Works because of its amazing scent! I’m a sucker really for anything that smells nice but besides that I also love that it sprays on dry. I hate using products that feel greasy and for obvious reasons especially at the beach.
It stays on for a while even after being in the water and the fact that it really does give you a cooling sensation when you spray it on while in the sun is an added plus! Because it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and with an SPF 25 I was able to use it on my daughter. The “Hold it right there” After Sun Moisturizer is a great followup for your skin after a day in the sun. When you put it on it immediately sinks in leaving your skin soft and hydrated and again, not greasy. I like that it has aloe vera for soothing and vitamin C and E to help fight after-sun damage.Once again another oil-free product. I’ve been using Neutrogena’s Clear Face sunscreen for years. Although most of the makeup I use has some SPF in them this lotion does a great job of maximum protection for the face without all the extras. It has a water-light texture that is easily absorbed and leaves a weightless, matte finish. I absolutely love this product!
There you have it, my favorite beauty products for July. Make sure to check back to find out which items made my list for next month’s favorite beauty finds!
Oil free suncreen is a must! All these sound great – glad you are getting lots of use from them – the more beach days the better!
