Last week I had the immense pleasure of spending some much needed relaxing time away in my favorite city by the sea. I grabbed my daughter and one of my boys since the other two were working and the Mr. couldn’t get away just yet. My highlight was of course the Newport Flower Show. So much to do, to see and lots to eat and shop for. Newport truly is a fantastic little town!
And the weather didn’t disappoint either! I wore this pretty mint colored maxi dress to the event. Again, just another one of those items that you can get a lot of mileage from during the hot season especially on a hot humid day, hence the frizzy hair. I absolutely fell in love with the color and the fabric is incredibly light and comfortable. As per ush, my little girl accompanied me.
These were my absolute favorite floral arrangements of the entire event! They mimic wedding cakes. I thought they were beautiful and incredibly creative!

I haven’t been to Newport in years – glad you lucked out with perfect weather and got to enjoy the flower show – those arrangements look stunning.
I’m glad you are having a good feeling about this summer, I’ve been a little worried myself with the weather bouncing from hot to downright chilly, and there are far too many rain clouds in the coming weeks forecast, but who knows, maybe things will turn out to be perfect.
