Hello my friends! Hope you’ve all had a relaxing weekend.
Today’s style post takes a different approach. I’m not just going to talk outfit details, instead, thanks to mother nature, I’ll be sharing with you some candid shots of what really happens on any photo shoot when the elements don’t cooperate!
Shortly after purchasing flowers we began taking some pics nearby. The day was on the slightly warmer side and bright. I swear it’s like the nature gods got jealous or something because all of a sudden these huge dark clouds appeared out of nowhere and the wind picked up. The next thing you know raindrops began falling…
We ran to the car and decided to call it a day. But low and behold, as we drive away the sun comes out and everything looks great. We decided to give it another shot. I’m not even kidding when I say that by the time we found a parking spot and got out to take pics the rain and wind began again! Jacket, NY&Co. | Shirt, Old Navy | Boyfriend jeans, Old Navy | Pumps, Target, back in stock!
Reversible tote, NY&Co. | Pearls, H&M
The temps dipped so we called it a day and jetted back home. Needless to say the day wasn’t a total loss as challenging as it got. I really do enjoy doing this and I don’t mind letting you in on the goofy takes, after all, it’s part of the game and why not. I hope you appreciate the time we dedicate to bring you some, if not interesting then definitely funny moments of what sometimes goes on behind the lens.
The entire outfit was based on how pretty the day began. It was sunny and much warmer than it has been and I was desperately craving for spring colors. I got this safari look jacket for the upcoming spring weather. It actually has a hood which I folded away. As it turns out it was the perfect piece!
How adorbs is this reversible tote?! It came in handy for these gorgeous flowers that I got for another post I’m working on. Can’t wait to share that with you! The boyfriend jeans are heavily trending right now so I decided to give them a try. I found them to be comfy, edgy and very chic. Obsessed! And the leopard pumps, well they add a touch of glam to an otherwise boring look.
Until the next photo shoot! I wish you all a great week ahead along with fabulous weather.
This post is lined to More Pieces Of Me for the very appropriate Manic Monday!
You look great despite the elements!
Thank you Margie, you’re so sweet. -R
You look so classy and elegant and I love those leopard print shoes!

This is just too funny! Thanks for sharing, I needed some good humor.
