Hello readers. I hope your weekend was a restful one and the new week has started off on a great note!
The things us bloggers do and go through to try to achieve a nice style post is somewhat of a juggling act. It’s been so darn cold out lately that I’ve been on what seemed like an endless hibernation period. But finally the temps creeped up a bit giving me the opportunity to go out for some pics; but not without some rain.

So I braved the elements with my usual latte in tow.
I wanted to point out these faux leather-front jeans. I’m not the kind that wears leather much unless it entails a fabulous pair of heels but I found these jeans super chic. They are quite comfy and very warm. I’ll be wearing these quite a bit in the next few weeks!
The long shirt, which is trending right now, I thought paired well with them. At first I layered it but again, it’s just so burdensome to have so many layers so I opted out instead. I love the detail on the side. It’s a minimalist approach with a little spark. Yep, you guessed it, sequins!
As for the shoes, well, have you heard the latest? Marsala is Pantone’s color of the year! So bust out those deep red hues, they’re gonna be around for a while.
Faux leather, Marsala heels and my cup of jo, I think I’ve got it covered.
