Hello lovelies! Today I want to share with you a quick review of a couple makeup items I recently purchased at our local H&M store. I consider myself a regular at this shop but never for makeup. And since I’ve actually been on the hunt for an angled foundation brush I decided to take a peek at their newly revamped makeup isle. I’m glad I did!I want to start with the angled foundation brush. I was first introduced to this little gadget by a great makeup artist over at Sephora. He showed me how to use it and why it’s such a great tool to have. But at $30 I really didn’t want to splurge on this kind of purchase. I mean, that would cover almost a month’s worth of Starbucks’ lattes for me! So on the hunt I went.Although I don’t use liquid foundation much, (I prefer foundation powders, i.e. Bare Minerals) I find this brush extremely helpful. It has super soft bristles and yet firm enough to help with the application. And for the price tag of only $9.95 you just can’t beat it! But the price is not reflective of the quality. I put it up against some of the other brushes I found at Sephora and it was just as good and in some instances better! If you love wearing liquid makeup I highly suggest you invest the ten bucks on this tool. You will see the difference it does to how your makeup goes on.Perhaps more surprising of the two cosmetics find was this pretty eyeshadow and blush kit.First off, I’ve purchased eyeshadows from the local pharmacy to high-end shops. Typically the lesser the price tag the lesser the quality, not always, but certainly the norm. Except for this one. I am super happy with this purchase at just $7.95!
The palette of colors, the velvety smooth powder and the surprisingly beautiful finish, it’s everything I look for in eyeshadows and blushes. Unless you like matte finishes, I don’t, and they have this kit with that option, this product gives off a beautiful dewey sheen. It is excellent! Although I didn’t find it online they do have similar kits to choose from.I was just too giddy not to share this with you guys! I love it when I find great items at great prices. It’s not everyday that happens. And since some of you have emailed me with questions on where I shop for my makeup or what brands I use I thought I could start with this recent find.
I hope you guys find this one helpful! Keep those emails and questions coming. I’m more than happy to answer whenever I can.
Have you found a great makeup buy? I’d love to know about it.
This is NOT a sponsored post. Opinions are 100% my own.
I didn’t even know that they made makeup or brushes, so thanks for sharing!

Hi Whitney!
I didn’t know they had cosmetics either until I stumbled upon their isle with a new makeup section. It’s actually quite nice and so far the quality is good. Thanks for stopping by, I’m glad this was helpful! -R
